About the Role:

Join the dynamic team at Mr. Handyman Serving Brandon to Bradenton Beach as an Estimator for Remodeling! In this exciting role, you will play a key part in transforming homes while collaborating with a skilled team dedicated to excellence in service and craftsmanship. The position pays $800.00 per week plus % of each job sold and bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates for remodeling projects.
Conduct on-site assessments to gather necessary data for accurate estimations.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project scope and specifications.
Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to provide precise material and labor costs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
Prepare and present estimates and proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner.
Review and adjust estimates based on client feedback and project changes.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in all estimates.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an estimator in the remodeling or construction industry.
Strong understanding of building materials, costs, and construction processes.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality estimates.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license, We provide reliable transportation for site visits.
Must have experience with Xactimate and if possible Service Titian
We do background check and drug screen
