- Evaluate project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates for remodeling projects.
- Conduct on-site assessments to gather necessary data for accurate estimations.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project scope and specifications.
- Analyze blueprints and technical drawings to provide precise material and labor costs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Review and adjust estimates based on client feedback and project changes.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in all estimates.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the remodeling or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of building materials, costs, and construction processes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality estimates.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license, We provide reliable transportation for site visits.
- Must have experience with Xactimate and if possible Service Titian
